Briggs Flathead / Re: arc rod!

i have run the opposed rods hard with out any failure. they do need some extra oiling holes drilled in them . up on the wrist pin i drilled 2 extra holes. and on the crank journal drill 2 extra holes . clean all the casting marks off the rod . and new rod bolts . the rod bolts need to be checked after a few races they will back out . that is what causes alot of the rod failures . next to lack of oiling on the wrist pins.

hope that helps

that is how you make boost by overdriving it . the more boost the more you need to fattin it up at the same time . alky works the best with alot of boost . if you begining compression ratio is 8 to 1 your finnal compression ratio is going to be about 13-14 to one with 10 lbs. of boost . looks like a pair of tillison 348's would work great!!!!!!

just a thought ???? some people like to :censored: others like too race!!!!!!!!
