Title: Does the Kawasaki 20 HP on John Deere GT 245 have a governor
Post by: pops on April 16, 2016, 10:56:57 am
We have a John Deere GT 245 with a 20 HP Kawasaki and want to adjust the governor but I can't find any information on where the governor is or if the engine even has one. Does anyone have some directions with pictures?

John Deere parts lists shows to be an FH601V Kawasaki motor. Upon parts lookup, yes, it does in fact have a governor.

Thanks your link was just what I needed! I'm new here. Does this forum make posts as solved? If so, how do I do that?
