Will a stock 28ci non avs flywheel work on a 31ci Avs engine

So this my ? Right now I'm running A 8" ON MOTOR 5" on Trans ...12t..44 t on rear at our home track we have 100' straight it run good but there's a small hesitation coming out of the corners I was wondering if I put a 4" on the trans would it take the hesitation out of it

For some reason I keep braking the pinion snap ring and the pinion drops out the bottom and locks up the tranny ..it happen the first time after running 4 heat races and 2 features races ..now after a rebuild its happening at idle and about 10 feet of travel ..what could possibly be happening here ..that's after ordering all the parts to fix it each time it happens..someone please help me out maybe something is being over looked ...
I have be thinking maybe I'm overdriving the input shaft by running a 7" on the motor and a 3" on the trans ..maybe if I go to a 8"and a 5" it will solve the problem...

Would like to know there is an adjustable high side for the 30 ci vtwin vanny single barrel carb ...or can I use one from a 31 ci single walbro carb

When removing the governor whats the right way to plug the hole in the case ..should I just tap it and put a plug in it

Well I went to a race tonight and the track was very bumpy and I never had this problem before now ..I would run 4 laps then it seems stall out and seem to be flooded out ..I'm running a gp 28ci Briggs any answers to this ..thank you

Has anyone tested out this cam on their mower at all ..I just bought one from big lots for 30 bucks and ill see how good it works out for me. Beats the $200 go pro price ...
