I run Tyler's 2 barrel carbs on my fxt kohler v-twin, bp v-twin vanguard they run great, after they have been tuned you do not have to touch them. Give him a call you won't regret it.

They wont turn 12000 rpm in mine, about 8500 only & will not last long turning that.

If you make the spindle's yourself never use a grade 8 bolt, Welding on grade 8 will cause them to break over time. use grade 5 they will just bend.

The way the cams are designed they will spit fuel out , nothing to worry about.

When you anneal you get them hot until they turn all different colors then quinch them in cold water that's what i've been told, If that's correct when you dump them in cold water they get harder not softer.

Do not anneal just use locktite 518 jell seal, let it set for 24 hours, I have never had a problem using this method.
