They have tried up there for years. No one wants to build them.... The ones that did sold them all. Great track too.

I used a 28ci copper head gasket and trimmed up the cylinder hole in it with a pair of tin snips, then filed it down nice and clean ( I was in a pinch after my head gasket blew in a race and I left my spares at home). It seemed to work fine

Hello there. Im from just north of Syracuse. Welcome to Heymow. I have been out of the game for a couple year but I do want to get back in. If you plan on building your stuff, I can supply some stuff (I work for a sheet metal shop). PM me for more info. As far as tracks, we have one here. Not sactioned by USLMRA or ARMA. There are some people on here from your area too I think that can help you as well...

Good luck!

The crank in the motor you got from me was a Gienger crank with some other balance work done... AVS cranks will last! lol

I think if i was to do another single I would run an AVS 33 engine and put the shim with the thrust washer on it to accept the non AVS rod and crank combo. Lighter rotating weight and it spins up faster. I followed one all year last year.

Coffee Shop / Re: Push-Pull Steering?

There are a couple ways you can do this. Powermadd makes a system similar to this for snowmobile that you can weld right onto the steering stem. That way the steering wheel can swivel whatever way you want it and the stem goes through the stock locations.... Mike Collins runs a supermod anyway so that doesnt matter.

Its a sweet setup. As far as it looking wrong or not like a mower... It looks pretty much the same from the spectator point of view. It isnt at all hard to make either. When I get back in the game it will have this set up. You cant tell the difference unless you are really paying attention to their arms that they are turning it as oppose to the push pull...

Rusty tried for all he was worth to get people in our area to do it. but for whatever reason they rather do what they want. There were a few including myself that built arma mowers, but there were only a handful so the chapter fell apart. Which stinks.

Both tracks are great tracks though.

OK Round Boy!..........(I'm a fine one to talk,  LOL!)
I admit, that mower is much faster than me, I have said many times I'm "Skeered of it".
To the right driver, it's easily a top 5 winner.

Lol. I gotta do what I can to get all the power to the ground hahaha
