The only problem would be the rotor. Going to be pretty good size and adapting it to fit on the axle.

Look up stainless valve in the search bar. They still carry them and they are pretty cheap. You will need to get custom valve guides.
your right they show that they have them but said on the phone they were out of stock. Gonna double check tomorrow. Thanks for the info.

Just talked to them on the phone today and nope they don't have them anymore. Already have the guides just need replacements.

Does anyone know where to find 1/4" valves for the tvt691? EC doesn't have them anymore. Would rather not get custom cut but find some ready to drop in.

You can get a new left hand frame rail from ereplacementparts.com but the right hand is discontinued.

I saw some Burris tires with the same pattern as turf pro. My wife's uncle has a set on his mower but they are 13 x 6.50-6. I've looked on the net and can't find any like it though.

What your describing sounds like an mtd type vari drive. They have 5/8" axles, weak, and are mostly junk. But those mowers are good to do a go kart rear axle and 700 transmission.

Browning makes adjustable pulleys. You can find them on EBay for around $20-$30.

Does the 820 have the 017 kit in it?
6" engine, 6" trans, 4" bottom of jackshaft and 4" or 4.25" on top, track dependant.
We used only 1/2 Gates predator belts on some serious V-twins with clowns like Gary P. and myself at the wheel with no issues.

What is your final gear ratio on this redline? I dont have 017 kit.

We use 5" pulleys on one of our setups. We tried 3" before and had a lot of belt slippage. We also run a 5/8" belt on top more durable.

Tecumseh Engines / twin build help
« on: September 05, 2016, 08:10:39 pm »
I have a tvt691 with arc rods and flywheel, isky cam, ported heads 5/16 valves ecdual springs and retainers. 17.5 hp carbs with blue tubes and brown jets. .026 lowsde. Now it cuts out opening to wide open throttle without the breather. When I put the breather on it won't open at all just stutters. I opened the small side of the brown jets to .039. Timing is set at 34*. Cam is 270* .400 lift. Heads or cam maybe too big? Keeps fouling plugs maybe high side too big. Help please it's kicking my :censored:

I saw an old post where George Herrin said you could resleeve and use tvm220 pistons. Would that be ok? And where could I get sleeves for this beast?
