I'm re-freshing my model 21 AVS.  I have the model 28 (non-AVS) crank and was wondering if anyone had the part number for the pan crank seal?

If you haven't done so already, I'd download the newest copy of the USLMRA rule book and read through the build requirements for the CP class.  As far as aftermarket parts, I'd start with an aluminum flywheel, billet connecting rod, balanced crank, camshaft and billet retainers for the springs.  That should give you a great start.  Just like Chris said, you can go as fast as your wallet will allow.  Hope this helps.

Hey Jason, did they let you keep that one from your hip surgery?

I wish it was!  That hospital bed was super fancy. I could control the TV with it & it came with a help button!

I use an old hospital bed.  Works awesome.  Plug it in and adjust height by pushing a button.

Timing is the major key to keeping the crank in one piece.  Like Paul said, use a degree wheel.  Never exceed 30 degrees.
