Anybody race Modified Lites? If anyone can help me out on some info about it that would be greatly appreciated, looking to get into dirt oval car racing, and needing help on what I should start in, I don't wanna jump in a late model, right away, I wanna learn the aspects of car racing before going for big HP.

Coffee Shop / Thermal-Arc Fabricator 181i
« on: January 07, 2012, 12:25:57 am »
For those looking for a good reliable, easy to use, and easy to transport welder this thing is the  deal. Its a single phase 220v, DC Inverter, meaning no AC welding but they are multi process, MIG, TIG, Stick and FCAW machines. I love mine, its 200A max output at 20% duty cycle witch is plenty for Mowchine Fabricaing  ;) and you can go from MIG to TIG to Stick in less than 10 Minutes, truely an amazing machine it uses a lift-arc system for TIG you gotta see these things. They just came out with A Fabricator 252i which is the same machine only 300A max output at 30% duty cycle and uses remote Amperage control ie.. foot pedal. I own a 181i and have used a 252i and they both are great if youd like to hear from me about them PM me and to see them in action here is the link http://www.thermadyne.com/Thermal%20Arc%203in1/index.php

I have an engine pulley, tranny pulley and EC clutch assembly.

Coffee Shop / front brakes
« on: October 09, 2011, 11:52:04 pm »
Ok so there is alot of talk about needing front brakse on high speed machines, like BPs SMs etc.. but I dont understand what the need is, I have been helping a Kart team locally for about 2 months now and not one kart has front brakes, now I understand that all braking in karting is trail braking and where the majority of the weight on a kart is split between left front and right rear, so can anyone help my understanding a little better of why its needed on high speed mowers?
