Kohler Engines / Crankshaft Throw
« on: October 10, 2016, 05:19:33 am »

Hi,
I'd have though this Question would have been asked along time ago but I could find it in the past post's  :bash:

Is there a different Throw between the 18hp, 20hp, 22hp, 25hp, 27hp and the 30hp Crankshafts, or can I for example fit a 18hp crank in a 30hp Block and not worry that the Piston will not reach the top of the bore.

 Hi,

I've got a Kohler 25HP that's got over 16 bar compression ratio, where can I get a "High Torque Starter" that fits this engine?

or is the Denso 12v 0.6kw with 9 teeth the up-rated version??

would be great if I could get a quick answer :D :D :D

Kohler Engines / Interchangable crankshafts??
« on: February 05, 2014, 08:21:53 am »

Hi,  I've looked thro' the History of post's here and not found this subject. :(

Nearly everybody says the CV/CH 25,27 and 30 HP crankshafts are interchangeable. I bought one with a smaller PTO shaft size, matched them up and my original shaft has a small sholder next to the camshaft drive cog? This fits into a very flat bearing which is also shimmed before it then fits into the block side coverplate.
To come around this problem do I just need to buy another side plate, or have a ring made to fit the crankshaft??

   Open to any surrgestions, :D

Honda and Clone Engines / Interchangeable??
« on: October 12, 2012, 09:56:28 am »
 Hi,
We are running out of Honda Block's over here, :( and would like to know if the Original Honda GX670 Heads fit on an original Honda GX620 Block?
I'm thinking of buying a clone Honda 620 Block and swopping everything from my original 670 into the clone block. :D
Does anybody know if this is possible?
Does it depend on what type of clone I buy? :bash:

Would appreciate any info's on this subject, :dancing:

Honda and Clone Engines / Tuning Camshaft for a Honda GX 670 (24PS) Engine
« on: February 17, 2011, 04:36:51 pm »

Hi,  I'm new here in this Forum and like I mentioned above i'm looking for a Tuning Camshaft for my Honda Engine.
I live in the near from Hannover Germany and mower racing went in to trend over here about 5 to 6 years ago. The main race of the year is the Thönse 24Hour race with over 25,000 visiters last year and with 90 Teams on the start.  The sport was started as a cheep way to race, although today you can race anything fron a beer krate to a bed, na ja.
Anyway, I'd be very thankful if anyone could give me a tip to where I can get hold of such a camshaft. ;)
Cheers
