Title: steering help needed

I have recently acquired a 1970 huffy im turning it Into an ap mower, well ive got it to go about 20 mph so far but when I  let off the throttle and try to steer I go straight when I get back on the throttle and don't turn as sharp as I would like im using stock everthing just trying it out could someone please point me in the right direction, Any help will be appreciated thanks Jesse

I would buy or build a adjustable front end so you can try different angles  to make it handle better. Weight preload on front left tire ,seat position and so on make a mower handle. George H has a good post on here explain it. Basic setup.:)

Thanks for the reply I'll take a look at that if I. An find it LOL
I just thought my front tires are hard rubber, would that be the reason I can't turn? Could the hard rubber have no grip with the ground and the mower not turn?
