Does anyone know what stock timing is on a 23hp vanguard, and when setting the timing using arc adjustable flywheel the timing marks are supposed to to line up using a timing light on the btc side correct?

I have a 21hp vanguard with flat top pistons that sit in the hole .050" right now it has the .032" copper head gasket could I run a thinner copper gasket?

I have a noram enforcer clutch that mounts outboard and 3 times now the mounting bolt keeps breaking, tried higher grade bolts already, any ideas what could be wrong or what I should look for, thanks

Currently running a 23hp vanguard with the 16hp crank long rods with flat top pistons and all the other performances parts,question is would going back to 23 crank with stock length rods give me more power or what your opinion on this setup,thanks

hi guys, i have a 20hp vanguard twin built up somewhat and my question is last season with stock heads during a regular race i would use almost a whole tank of fuel, same motor this season runs strong but during off season i had my heads ported and polished larger stainless steel valves done by well known guy that knows what he's doing on these heads, but expecting to use more fuel i'm using alot less, any concern here?

Would there be any advantage to having a spacer between the intake to elbow and elbow to carb or better with just the one spacer
