Ok, Ihate to ask this in front of Superman and every else but here goes.I've built a17.5 to the hilt! But still can't start it with the starter!! (have to push it).  Iput a new (tech.) starter reppair teeth kit(90.00)a new ring gear from ARC. set starter closer to flywheel than the paper clip trick, checked for sheared key on flywheel/crank. timing has not changed on Arc wheel(second mark from minus mark). and i'm STILL CHEWING UP MY STARTER RING GEAR. Please help me solve this expensive challenge.
BTW we won ALL heats and feature our first race of season yesterday, with a new driver new motor, but had to push it tostartit. an old man(me) can't do any more. Any ideas out there?
