JUST ASKING. I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL TYPES OF STEERING, ONE PIECE TIE ROD, TWO PIECE CONNECTED IN THE MIDDLE, PUSH - PULL,  AND RACK AND PINNION. I DO UNDERSTAND THERE ARE GOOD AND NOT SO GOOD WITH EACH ONE. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK AND WHY? I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS QUESTION ASKED.

How many of you all have cut your cranks? My understanding it's for ground clearance, but how common is it. Just curious.

Coffee Shop / Caught on tape
« on: October 22, 2012, 11:50:18 am »
I went looking for a tape to record the monster energy race saturday and ran across some lawnmower racing. It was in 2004, 2005, and 2006. George was racing the f/x and bp class, Don Geinger was racing sp & f/x. They showed a Berterand hyd on someones hood, and Darren Polzin was running bp. It was fun to see alot of familar faces and names. Don was big and George was small!

Coffee Shop / BILLET RODS
« on: August 20, 2012, 05:41:17 pm »
Does ARC make or will they make rods shorter or longer? Say if you stroke an engine and you need a shorter rod will they do it or even leave it blank so I could finish it? I understand I can talk to ARC but sometimes it is easier to ask here without buggin a company with out buying, right away. Thanks

Coffee Shop / Carbide burrs
« on: June 06, 2012, 01:29:04 pm »
Whats a good way to get aluminum stuck on carbide burrs? I got alittle over zealous and didn't lube it up fast enough. They are 1/8 so it doesn't pick out very well. Another thought I had was muratic acid, eats aluminum and not the carbide [not left on a long time]. Any other ideas?
