my small engines teacher told me that i could stack head gaskets and just keep extras and if you blow one out but news on   would that work

so i have two choices of high compression would be longer connecting rod or dome top piston. what one should i pick. i found a 0.20 longer connecting rod for $24 on superxpower.com but i cant find a dome top piston

i have briggs 12 hp virticle shaft motor with a 0.20 big bore kit, titanium valves, drilled out my exhuast and intake port, autolite platinum spark plug both one thing thats ive been scratchin my head about is what fuel should i use.i was consitering using vp racing fuel with 105 octane. whats yalls opinoin

i check the battery and its good. i jumped my starter and turned over the motor then i jumped the selinoid and started so my theory is the ignition switch. want your opinion?

it doesent even crack,spark,or click like the starter is hitting. and none of the guages,lights, or indicater lights work
