No "true" Vanguard singles were splash, they were all pressure lube.

Same size crank pin and wrist pin but, the vanny rod is .062 wider than the oppy rod and, The 40CI rods are about .067 longer than the Vanny rod, while the 42 Rods are about .012.

The Vanny has a 2.86 stroke, with roughly a 4.563 rod length, not quite sure on the opposed, though. I haven't measured the 46 rod yet. The 46 oppy rod clears the cam and block but, is narrower than the vanny rod. The vanny rod is .062 wider. The 40 and 42 rods won't clear the block,

I think your right.  I went outside this morning and, thermo. said 0, they said with wind chill it's gonna be around -15.  The weather man said " frostbite can set in, in as little as 10 minutes. So to anyone going or working outside Bundle Up!!!

I'm pretty sure it has two wires for two different kill sources. If you only have one kill switch, then you would jut cut and cap the other wire.
