Title: intek twin mukuni flat slides

Hey I was wondering if anyone's running 28 mm flat slides on a intek I have a couple questions I can't get mine tuned in and its driving me crazy lol

never ran the flat side mikuni but i did a little work with the round slide . did you buy the carb new and are they build for 2 stroke or 4 stroke ... because the 2 stroke one are very very hard to get them to idle right

Yea I bought them new off ebay I'm not sure if they were set up for two stroke or four stroke though

The only way I can get it to run good is when its way to lean when I get a nice color on plug it breaks up.I tried moving the needles up and down but doesn't seem to do much

you have a slow jet for idle the needle is for mid trottle and the main jet is for hi speed. if you break up on top your probably too fat. since you dont spend much time there the the spark plug color is mostly from the needle
