Hi. I was recently looking at kohler build prices just to mess around and I was wondering if I could build a 30-35hp kohler more cost effectively than a briggs. I have a stock 33ci briggs with a flywheel as of now. Midwest super cub is willing to sell me a flywheel for 100 bucks. What would work better. If the kohler would be better, is there anybody who can port and polish a kohler head for a really reasonable price?

Kohler will by far cost more.

Briggs is kinda like the small block chevy of small engines. Nothings cheaper, lol.

Super cub doesn't make anything anymore so I'm gonna go briggs
