After a few weeks of gathering parts, (and trying to finish the kitchen remodel before Mama kills me ), I finally have time to start the build.

I'm starting with my late Grandfathers MTD Ranch King. I think he would enjoy seeing it have a new life.

This mowchine will be built to compete primarily in the AMRA modified flathead class while still being legal to run ARMA Sportsman..... and if the USLMRA ditches the Lemans style starts and goes to rolling starts I will join and run S/P too..... until then it ain't happening.



Spent a little time stripping the chassis this evening



Received a few really nice goodies from George at E.C. Distributing. Very fast shipping and top notch, high quality parts, I couldn't be happier.... Can't wait to see what that billet aluminum looks like after I polish it and it's setting against some Kawasaki Racing Green paint.
