I have a mikuni dirt bike carb I never put on my bike .I seen people put them on mowers and it work out nice, but my question is does the governor still work? If I put the mikuni on with it's own throttle cable will the gov still work ? Do I need a throttle cable to hold the gov arm in the position I want or can it just be uncooked and still work how it's supposed?  Sorry bout the long dumb ? .I just don't wanna be completely un goved

Well, rather then start a new, identical thread, I thought I would resurrect  this as my youngest daughter is now in second grade and doing the same project.

So, If anyone would be willing/interested in sending a postcard to my daughter and her second grade class, please send me a PM, and I will give you the address of where to send it.

I have 3 sets of 16x7.5x8 Turf pro's.  2 sets are really good the other set has wear to one side.  These are the shortest and stiffer sidewall tires Carlisle made.

I have never had an issue with sidewall flex if you get a small sidewall tire.

Mine are set up with 2:1 sprocket ratios on both FXT and FXS.  So my RAGB turns 1/2 the RPMs that my engine does.  Mostly, it will depend on your ratios and engine RPMs.

True drag slicks r bias tires and they coil up at take off and if u turn at high speed the sidewalls flex alot n roll. Does this Happen with mower tires cause most I see r bias ply even the  turf master or Carlisle smooth tires that I'm planning on
