Just put pins on the stuff you raise up, and bolts for fenders

Driveline / Re: Transaxle brake

I started making 3/4" to 1-1/4" adapters after not being able to find some online. These would fit your 3/4" axle and allow you to run an 1-1/4" gokart style disk brake hub. They are 3/4" ID with 3/16" key way and have a 1-1/4" OD with 1/4" key way. They work great with the Doc Locker system if you have an axle with a full key way. Other wise if you want to run your stock axles you can buy 3/4" to 1" or 1-1/4" adapters with 1/4" key ways cut. You just have to weld them onto your current axle wherever you'd like your brake disk. I've seen them done both ways.

Yeah that's what I thought. I think it would be best just so I can pull the whole body off the frame like an old car or truck. Should I put the bolts through the side of the frame or the top though? would it make a difference?

Honda and Clone Engines / Re: gx270

Not worth it. You will have way too much money in it to keep up with the 390s. Get a 460 from Vegas karting, its pretty budget friendly.

Chassis / Mower frame question.
« Last post by BPLP on November 16, 2017, 07:46:38 AM »
Would it be possible, or more so a good idea, to make the frame that the body of my mower will fit over and then drill holes and bolt the two together? I was going to weld them but together but then it might be hard to keep it from distorting from the heat and so on. Also I think it might be better for maintenance. (this is not going to be a racer so those restrictions don't really apply to me.)

Tires / tire seating

Front tires went flat from sitting and  can't get the bead to seat again. Is the gas and hammer trick safe to do on mower tires?
