Remember you do not just hack the fenders and lower the seat in.. you must mold the seat pan back into the lower position.

The rule book says protective trimming. Could we get clearer pictures of this. A clear picture of this done on a mtd tunnel chassis with the big one piece fender would help. A little clarity please?

I agree. I'm not hacking my front end up to add 2 inches. If I was building a new machine with a new axle that would be a different story. The seat height, ya, I'm hacking my fender up for that. Just my opinion.

Yes the pictures in the rule book. Those pictures are not very clear to see how it was smooth and sharp edge free. Are there any other pictures that show this better?

Briggs OHV & Vanguard / Re: Hand throttle on restricted class

I have had that trouble too. I had a barrel/cable clamp screwed into the white piece on the engine throttle slide, hooked my throttle cable to that clamp, secured the cable outer jacket to the extra clamp on the engine throttle slide bracket where the original cable probably was on, then would take the barrel/cable clamp loose and adjusted the cable in the clamp until I had full throttle. make sure when you are at full throttle you are not starting to engage the choke. after that get a tiny tack and check your rpms, bend the governor spring tab until you get to your desired max rpm. check what your max rpms are with the engine cold and with the engine warm. max rpms will change up or down depending on your engine. hope this help

I've raced my 700 3 speed in imow. Went to a 5 speed for more gear options in new gp mod-x-r class.

go to ec tech site and put your pulley sizes, trans gears and sprockets in and that will get you your ratios to find 8 to 1.
