Where is the best place to buy a ARC Rod for a non synchrobalanced 8 hp 1900 series? Do they make them for a stock piston? Sorry, I cant find anybody to talk to me about them. I would also like to find a steel sleeve. Does anybody have any used parts for this. Thanks.

thanks guys im new at this i pulled garden tractors for a few years but the tracks closed i bought two mowers from a lady race ready her dad raced them some where in georgia i sold one to my uncle the other one smoked im gonna rebuild it it has a stock piston and rod do i need to use a arc rod or could i just use new stock parts thanks

Bought a racing mower 8 hp ap. Engine was smoking. I took the engine apart and its not synchro balanced. Is it ok to use a non balanced engine? (or are 8 hp engines synchro balanced?) Ive worked on mowers a long time but Im not familiar with the 8 hp. Also is there anywhere to race in SC? I spoke with the owner of Highway 24 Raceway in Anderson SC and she said if we could get enough she would race them on Friday nights. Thanks for any help.
