How much can stock rims take.I have the plain old mower rims .really don't wanna put hubs on is why I ask

Seen them break in the middle of a turn twice.
One had reinforcement as well.

How do u reinforce a rim? Might just do that till I can get some quality rims

Rims are $30 bucks new. 30ci

Just bought a new house and car,I can't get away with spending extra on a mower .but  I  can get out the welder

You would be better off to wait till you could afford after market wheels the stock wheels will still break after welding supports on them. Driver at my track is lucky he's not paralyzed after a stock wheel broke in the middle of a turn, it's not worth the risk.

i was just watching a race when a wheel broke  it went flying by me as i turned my back to talk to someone,  they wern't going to let him race with the steel rims but it was the first race he had been at so they told him he could race that time but the next race he would have to have real wheels
