I just do not have the time for another project so iv decided to sell the mower as is. How much do yall think that the mower is worth as is. I do have a 700 trans or the one in the mower would possible be fixed.

As for the chassis we built it but yes its based off their mowers, my dad is friends with them and would drive for them every now and then in events. I need to talk to them its been awhile, as far as governed  :noplease: lol. Iv raced dirt bikes, karts and now I'm racing XC quads on a couple can-am's. I need to go fast lol I wish I had a twin for a BP but I doubt if I will be able to come up with one. Its going to be hard to part with it lol iv already got the mower fever so I may end up keeping it but If I do it wont be sitting  ;) It will be out racing.  Iv looked around here some and I cant find much on the materials that people are using for axles (im sure it's here) if anybody can help point me in the right direction that would be great. I know what has got to be done but which axle? solid 3/4" hollow 1 1/4? no aluminum right? where can I find the peerless sprockets?

I'm south of Atlanta. I know they are still racing around here but I haven't talked to anybody yet.

Chassis / old J/P into S/P or C/P????

Me and my dad built this J/P about 5 years ago and it sat in a barn since. The tranny went out right after we got it built it and we never got the time to get back around to it, racing dirt bikes and quads has been our main focus over the last 10 years. Well today I decided to drag it out and see what I had (yeah its been that long) lol. Here is what iv got a snapper with a junk tranny and a 12hp Flathead Briggs.

cleaned up nicely

I had it going in no time so the engine runs just as we left it years ago. Here is my question build it in to a S/P or a C/P, iv also got a 14hp OHV laying around.
Oh and its getting a 700 and a live axle (already got the tranny) but I do not know how to go about building the live axle? kart axle? hubs? bearings? gear ratio?

The plans are to build it up run it some and give it a new home so my real question is which class has more of a following that I would have better chances of selling the mower.
