Copper gaskets unlimited has gaskets for the opposed. You could take out the inner springs on the EC springs to make the spring pressure a little more mild.

you could try advancing the timing, and put a k and filter and velocity stack on it. Also, better exhaust... Less dramatic bends. If that doesn't seem like enough, you could try mild porting on the block.

Yeah, sorry to say, but that is a vari drive. Not good for anything really. Have to run a manual to not run into a bunch of problems

700 is the best for racing, but for your use you could use a peerless transaxle. the mst 205/206 ones have worked the best for guys running 3/4 transaxles in my club
