depending on what track,gearing,tire size,i mostly spun mine at 8500 and hit 9000 and its on its 2nd season.were going to do some serious mods  for next season and shoot for 10,000.for those that know me thats no :censored:!

alot of us up here in the great north west love the ap idea,makes it easyer for them to move into a class they would rather race.battle wagon or hot rod thats a no brainer.as far as hard to find chassis why not lettem fab new ones to ap specs?wouldnt that be safer than running a 1965 rusted out frame.how about 8hps,transmissions,and control the speed with gearing. maybe they would learn alot along this great journey.why not let them decide what style they would rather build?all you have to decide is what the limits are to keep it safe.

that is good advise but im going to build a supermod and wy leave it small when you know your going to build it big and make chassis adlustments to compisate.so why not build it to what your trying to adjeeve to begin with.witch do you believe to be more dependable tech or briggs[intek]/head gaskets,leaks?what is the stock bore on the 42?the techs are very rare in my part of the country.

what is the biggest piston that can be used in a tech with a resleeve?is the head design better than briggs?what makes this engine or build better than briggs?i see briggs has a 28-30hp out now

nope its a new 8hpohv,model#212702-0114,it looks identical to a 31avs,seen em for sale at the small engine wherhouse for 310.oo,might have to machine my own goody parts.
