getting ready to build one of the super mods for next year. problem is that all of the ragb i can find are left drive. can i use one offset to in front of r.r. tire with proper bracing and fab work to drive in the same area as right drive units?
Drive line is open if you can make it work that way go for it.

I just havent seen/heard anyone do it. i didnt know if it would create any issues in regards to chain bind from frame flex with the box so far outboard? also any possible belt length/clearence issues? thanks for the replys guys- i have watched both george and ryan alot on u-tube, and cant wait to saddle down into my new mowchine!

George, was wondering what you aand some of the other guys are running for a final drive ratio, i was leaning towards a 7.1 final ratio, am gonna make my front sprocket easily changeable, will have a 12,13 and 14 front sprocket with an 8'' on ragb and 5'' on engine....was thinking of a 54 rear sprocket for a 7.2 final ratio, any thoughts on this! thanks....

What am I missing? With a belt clutch and a RAGB, how do you get a neutral when your not depressing the clutch?

For the guys that aren't using centrifugal clutches,  in our club you would make a lock for the clutch pedal to hold it down so you can push the machine around like it was in neutral.

George- I know you said you are running a clutch cable- but I don't see any pedal. How do you engage, and lock the clutch?

I am runnoing a centrifugal right now. I can switch to pedal in about 10 minutes or less. The pedal has a hole drilled thru it and the pivot mount. I press the clutch and stick a pin thru it. Works great. I went with the centrifugal because I let others ride it and its easier for them to take off.

thats the plan on mine, using a twist-pull clutch till i can afford a good cent clutch, but im gonna leave all the foot clutch components on there and just use it as a tensioner!

Mine is so close (56") belt I use just one pulley. It is also the tensioner when using the Centrifugal clutch.
