Cromwell Racing 2009 Super Mod Twin / Outlaw build :D
« on: March 17, 2009, 11:21:52 am »
I'm just getting started on this thing. It's mostly still parts in a box   But it will come together quickly over the next two weeks. I hope to have it done (minus paint) by the middle of April.

Here's a rough mock up of the chassis to get an idea of where I want everything.

I'm using a  2000 model Kubota chassis with MTD sheet metal. I'll have more pics soon of the work on the chassis.

If you have any pics of the chassis unmodified woiuld be great.
I have been looking at the build rules and wondering what would make a good chassis to start from.

Good going Tyler, making me want to start ours. We're putting super-sportsman together now with new shiney paint. I did order front brakes and mastercylinders and a bag full of other goodies for the Pro-twin this week and will be starting soon. Good luck next couple weeks.  :rockwoot:

Here's some updated pics. It is a rolling chassis now with the kart seat mounted in place. I'm working on the fenders and drive train now. More updates to come soon.

what kind of tire is that front and rear?

also what size are they front and rear?

I don't know the size he used, but those are turf masters on the front, and turf pros on the rear.

If I had to guess on the size, they look like 13x6.5-6 front, and 16x7.5-8 on the rear.
