Right Angle Gear Boxes?

OK, that’s what I’ve been estimating while doing the research.
Do you remember what your gear box was rated for? How close do I have to follow the specification?

Thanks for your help Mr.Herrin!!!!!!!!!!!!

those gear boxes are rated for 10 hp and a static tourque of 1,200 inch pounds thats around 100 foot pound sso theyll take a pretty good beating and they are hard to break i have never heard of anyone busting one in our league the only thing u gotta watch is they like to twistif they arent mounted firmly id say go for it theyre just as fast if not faster thena  700 if u gear it right

These are not high volume items most mower shops will have to order them. generally a two week wait. And they must be a tecumseh dealer.

OK George, I can do that…
It’s how I’ve been raised, and I know you are older than me….
But if you insist…..

matt25001149, I’m not sure what gear boxes your referring too, 700’s? right angle?, but in my research I’ve found several different types  (right angle) that were rated for many different horse power numbers, torque and RPM.

If you were talking about a specific one and I completely over looked it in this post, I’m sorry…. LOL…

Try this place for your seals and gears.  http://www3.sears.com/  They can usually ship to you in less than a week.
