Hey do you guys have a supplier for those angle drives or a part number, we have been looking for that exact thing to use in place of our trans and cant seem to find them at a reasonable price.

squidd those 90* gearboxes are made by peerless ill go check the model number on mine in a bit
but i know if u find a lawnmower with a sideshaft engine on it it will modst likely have them on the deck usually 2 of them one right hand and one left make sure u have the right one for ur setup or ull be goin in reverse on the track

I am so over the right angle thing....I bought a 5 speed peerless off ebay....then I sold my S92 John Deere sunday....and as my luck goes the guy tips up the mower to look at the blades....tells me he'll take it....drives 50' and blows the motor.......so here's your money back.....and as the wife and I are looking at the big hole in the side of the motor....I notice it has another peerless in it...what a dork I am...so now I got 2.....but with my luck I am thinking spare stuff should be a must!

Link worked fine for me Creech, it opened to a .pdf file which might be bogging down on you if you're on dial-up. Not too large in size though... It opened in about second and a half on my connection.

Mr. Herrin, was the same for me.
I loved the races......
I might be possibly picking up 2 more mowers to night with my brother...there going to be his.... that will make a total of 6 riders at our house!! 1 for the grass 5 others to build…
I’ll get some picks…
I am on high speed at work and slow speed at home

now it works for me!
SOosoo what the final word on these gear boxes over a peerless 700??
They seem to be a very simple way to run a cart axel.
I’m wondering if I should even bother trying to find a 700???
I know that you can’t shift gears with a “90†but I think my twin will pull enough “gear†to satisfy me…
