hub sliding
« on: July 13, 2006, 08:11:25 pm »
I just bought a new one piece billet sprocket hub for my axle and gave it a test run and it slide a little towards the left rear tire on my axle.  I have the allen screw tight as I could get it and ever put keyed shaft locks on both sides of the hub on the axle.  Are they a trick to keep these hubs where they belong?

I cut my keys just big enoguh for the hub it doesn't extend out either side. Then I take slit collar locks and put one on each side with the key side opposite the keyway in the axle. I have never had one move.
