Cleanin out a transaxle

I am cleanin all the grease out of my transaxle how do you get it all out? and also when i opened it two ball berings fell out, does anyone know were they would go?

What type and model transaxle do you have Bobby? Can you get pictures of it top and bottom and opened up, and post them? I'm thinking they are likely detent balls, not ball bearings.

If you can find a manufacturer and model number, we can probably point you to a parts breakdown. If you can't find a manufacturer and model number take pictures, maybe someone will be able to identify it.

Im not sure its a foote 4speed out of a 87 craftsman ill get some pics tomarrow when its light out

May be that model 4010 I have pictured there, that one came out of Craftsman too... Not sure about year, early to mid 80s I think.

How do you get the pictures from the camera to the computer? I checked the thread its not that one but it is really close. i couldnt get the website to work i got dail up, it to about 10 minutes to load a small part of the page

I got that website thing figured out i thinks its a Foote 4360, what kind of gear oil and how much should i put in there?
