Thats not really an uncommon thing, my indian if you set there with the breather off and rev it does it also. NOW if it so much its flooding could be over carbed/jetted. Next thought would be valves but you say thats good.

with out more detailed info on how it runs or what its doiing hard to say. Generally blowing fuel out the carb is an intake valve not seating. Check a flywheel key maybe it has sheared and the timing is retarded to the point its casuing what you see. I doubt the timing at the crank and cam is off unless you didn't assemble it correctly. Never seen one jump there.

thanks for the info it runs decent then it starts spitting fuel out and missing if you put any type of air breather on it it runs like crap. we changed the carb and the intake valves was all done at a machine shop but im not saying that the machinest didnt screw up cuz its happened before. I will try the timing key and check the valves thanks for the help and if you have anymore ideas let me know if ya would
thanks alot

When you say it runs decent then starts spitting fuel out, how long does it run decent? Is it coming up to full operating temperature wherein things getting warm might be tightening up a little, maybe seeing a little swelling in the area of the valve seats or guides? Just thinking out loud looking for answers to questions George needs to know the answers too to diagnose the problem. (o;?

it does this all the time no matter if its at operating temperature or not when you put you hand close to the carb you can feel it sucking in air and then after a couple revolutions of the crank it will blow air out the carb and start sucking air back in
Thanks

i took the flywheel off and checked the key that all was ok i took the valve covers off and checked clearance and checked for a bent push rod and everything checked good. We changed the jet and it runs better and doesnt miss as much but it still blows gas out of the carb. after we took all the covers off and could feel the air flow better it blows more air out the carb then what it sucks in?
Thanks

Do a "Leak Down" test...that will tell you for certain if it's blowing past the valves....
