I am looking at geting an old dynamark with a 10hp tecumseh. would this be good to start racing with.

Dynamark chassis is only "OK". I'd rather a Murray wide body or an  MTD. 10 Rec won't work unless you want to spend oodles AND you know what you're doing with it. 12hp Briggs is a much better starting point for a newbie.

Well if its the small dynamark the then yea there alot guys that run them in the mini sportsmen class also tecumseh made a tvm220 engine which they sold as a 8 and or as a 10 so if you got a tvm220 loose the sticker and build a wicked lil mini sportsmen mower.

George has a dynamark truck that he won the sportsman class in the All-american race with. Plus a lot of other races this season. It's all in how you build one.

I know several people that race dynamarks, I think they are as good as anything else.
