if the flywheel would fit on the crank then you would need to have it re-keyed for correct fire point. either it or the crank.

If you build it, it should fly.
take it out and let it eat...

If the Crank diameter and taper is the same that would be a great start.  The Midwest Supercub and Lakota Command flywheels are both adjustable.  They have a steel hub that mounts on the crank and the flywheel is aluminum (similar to ARC's wheels) and bolts thru slotted holes to the hub.  Once the proper timing is figured out, the hub could possibly be drilled and tapped for a new location.  The flywheel diameter and starter ring gear would be the next adventure.  I have a MV-20 on my Bench and I'm about to order a Lakota Flywheel for my Command.  I'll be checking all these things before I install the wheel on the Command.

Could you check your command flywheel on your MV-20 and post pics if it's not too much of a problem...

I'll try to get it tonite.  I haven't been getting home from work until late.  I have a Command 30 hp crank and a Magnum 20 hp crank to compare and a stock command wheel.   I don't want to pull the flywheels off the complete engines if I don't have to.

Jason, there is a maximum 42ci limit in supermod. The rules say 40 but that is an error.
