will be there!! hey nick, ya gonna make it up for our final race?
on a different note! Ive cooled down over the state fair race, was really disappointed they didnt even let us down by the track to observe ourselves, will they ask us back? who knows, i wanted to put on a show for spectators more than anything, the only way this thing gonna get big is to put on races! next year we gonna have some outlaw/modifieds going, so ya guys better bring it!!! ;) :woo:

Just a word of advice from someone thats been doing this 10 years and has to turn races down cause we cannot do all that want us to do them.

As a racer (individual) one is always representing the SPORT in general regardless of affiliation. That being said its better to not do show then to do a bad show (due to bad conditions or whatever circumstances deem it bad). How you present your self in all situations is how the general public/hosts percive the entire sport.... Just something to thin about.... Good luck everyone.

well george, you cant sit there and tell me you've never been disappointed by somebody else's decision to race or not, i myself was not one of them causing a big stir, sure i was upset, along with everybody else, its the way certain things are handled that can make a no big deal into a big deal!! some people just don't put up with it! some of them people i respect, some i don,t! as a member of an organization, i and everybody i race with do conduct ourselves responsible and dont fret the little things that come along, having ten plus people making a 3 hour drive for a race that was cancelled the night before and not being informed, thats a different story!!!!!!! like i said before, the way it was handled was wrong! end of discussion!!

I wasn't there I made no accusations and mentioned no names simply gave a little advice, yet your responce says much in itself.....  it was simply some advice and as you said end of subject. So no more mention of it regardless.

Everyone Coming from the North on 183 into Hays Ks, just take the 183 By Pass unless you'd like to stop and get supplies at walmart and such, you'll take a right at the Water Tower on the north side of town and you will head west for 1.5 miles or so, then take a left once you come to a stop sign and cross I 70 and right there will be a sign for the speedway. just take that right and you'll be there. If you stop at walmart, Take the exit just passed walmart and get on I 70. the first exit to the west will be your exit, get off and head south. first right is the fair grounds road. take it and it will put you there.

People out of the South on 183, you will come up to hays and you will have to stop at a 4 way. Take a left there, and this will put you on the 183 By-Pass north. Follow it around the park, past the golf course, and gross memorial collecium and up to I 70. Right before I 70 there is a turn off to the left and will have a sign to the fair grounds. take it and it will put you there.

People out of the East on I 70. Exit number 157 is your exit to get off. take a left and just after you cross I 70 is a turn to the right. take it and it will put you there.

People out of the West, again exit number 157. take a right and the first right which is just off to the right. Take it and it will put you there.
