Topic: 1964 huffy super stock

 OK I dicided I want to keep one of the two huffys I found and make it into a super stock. Not to arma rules but to a set of rules to a track that is in rockingham and in whiteville.  It has to be stock ride highth and has to have a 4" pulley on the motor with a 12hp unlimited rpms.  I found a 700 to go on it in the scrap metal yard. I paid $10 for it

If you re upholster that seat it could be a comfy ride.

wow.. was that huffy at the bottom sitting underwater or something?..

I'd be afraid to sandblast that.. just in case it turned to dust..

 It looks REALY bad but it's not. Just alot of surface rust.  When I took the motor off the small pulley at the verry top was welded to the crank  I had to take the stick welder out and put it on the highest heat level and cut away.

 OK major changed in my plans for this mower. This will now be a outlaw build.  I plan on puting a 5hp kart motor on it, BONE STOCK. That means governed at 3650rpm. This mower will be more of a show peice than anything. I will have to take the baxle out of it and turn it around so the sprocket will be on the left.  PICS TO COME SOON

  It will be slow. I am building this for looks more than anything. This is just cheaper that buying belt,pulleys,motor, and all the other stuff. Just a kart motor,chain,kill switch, and some kind of brake upgrade.
