Old School pullable?

If i built this vintage mower could it be modified to be pullable?

 The .pdf is plans on how to build one so i just have to build it
i was thinking switching to a live axle

modication is up to your imagination. if someone can imagine it then someone can modify it. its all up to you.

What do you think of the design and could i run a torque converter instead of an transmission and what class would i have to run?

Well if it is for pulling you need to get a set of local rules.... Many clubs do not allow tourqe converters...  We cant help you on classes because we dont have your rule book....

I must be missing something here but it doesnt specify what can be done in each class... I.E.- Certain mods limited to each class??
