« on: May 31, 2006, 11:45:34 am »
Here is a picture of my new 2006 machine at a race on Sunday that I went on to take the checkered flag

This class would be similar to the SP class in the USLMRA

Picture Credit goes to our new OELTRA member Rick Rzeznkzak.

Thanks Rocky and George

LOL I knew when I was posting this that George would have something to say about not wearing gloves. Yes I going to have to find a pair that I like.

I'd go with dirt bike gloves over mechanix style ones, work gloves bother me because they bunch up at the base of the finger. That's a great picture.

It’s a MTD Box style body with a Murray hood (Murray is a MTD line as well) You should find information on pulleys here or on the Yahoo USLMRA group. There is a fare bit of messages on the yahoo group about the pulley sizes.

I will look at the motor Bike gloves as well, thanks.

Andrew I don';t want to disapoint you But Murray is in no way part of nor ever has been part of MTD nor is MTD part of Murray. Murray manufacturing is or was thier own company. They are only 45 minutes from where I live. Or used to be, they went out of Business, Briggs and Stratton bought them out and closed the doors. I worked for an MTD dealer for 6 years so I am very familiar with that line also. They too are their own seperate company but have been buying many others up such as troy bilt. The two were never toegether at anytime.

Hey you’re right, not sure why I had that in my head. But it’s been in my head for a while. O well I can’t be perfect.

You can see at the link below that it shows 2006 Briggs & Stratton Corporation at the bottom of the screen

http://www.murray.com/

Yep MTD has TROY-BILT (that sponsors us), BOLENS, WHITE, YARD-MAN, and YARD MACHINES according to there web site in Canada

http://www.mtdcanada.com/home.asp?SelectedPage=1

I do know that Murray is still sold here in Canada, I see them at many stores and I want to say that I think those stores sell MTD products as well so that might be where I got that from.

Where can I find info on how to do my front end/steering like yours?

Also, can you post some picks on how you have your throttle set up?

Thanks bunch!!
