Yes, I have fromed an Affiliated Club called the Missouri Valley Mower Raceres.  I am also the VP of the IaLmra.  Both the IaLmra and the Missouri Valley Mower Racers are having a race the same day, same place.

I have done this so ALL racers with safe machines can come and race with us.  Not just USLMRA mowers.  I had to form the AC for insurance reasons and to keep the IaLrma its own identy with the USLMRA.

So here is the deal.  If you want to come race you can.  I have tow money and trophys for the IaLmra (US legal mowers) classes.  For the AC mowers I don't have any tow money or trophys as I am putting up my own money to start the club and pay the insurance.  I am not charging AC mowers to run, donations are accepted.  I am providing a place for non US mowers to race with insurance.

Paul that's great!!!
Wonderful to see people like yu and George to be reaching across boundries to allow those of us that don't have a sanctioned place to race the oppurtunity to attend and race at these events, has actually got me and my Teammates started building some sanctioned class racers.

Sadly we didn't have time to prepare for this race, but you are actually the closest sanctioned races closest to us so we are planning on maybe at least once a season making he 5 hr trip up!

I know it is short notice.  I have been working on this for a while, but I just now got it done.  I didn't want to announce it untill I knew it would work.  Didn't want a bunch of guys getting ready for a race and then not be able to make it happen.

If you can't make it this year. Watch for us next year!

I have done this for the exact reason you stated.  There are mowers out there that don't meet US tech, but are safe.  These guys will build more mowers, hopefully to US tech rules.  So when they come and race they can run the non US mower and the US mower at the same track!

I actually have a mower that doesn't meet US tech that I'm thinking about pulling out of the back of the garage and get ready for this race.
