We are only 2 weeks away from our first event of the year !!!
 
We will be starting our 2008 MNLMRA Race Series off in Gilbert Minnesota.
 
The MNLMRA and the Gilbert Centennial Celebration Committee are teaming up to bring you the first ever Centennial Fast Grass.
 
The Lawn Mower race will be the premier afternoon event starting at 4:00.
 
Tech and registration will begin at noon and practice at 3:00. Anyone wishing to show up early to help setup track and registration will be greeted with open arms...
 
$100 tow will be paid to anyone traveling over 100 miles (one way).
Note: Tow $$ are paid per driver per event.

For those of you that may be coming up early on Friday there are 2 parades that the MNLMRA will be promoting the event in. If you are interested in being in either of the parades please let me know asap..

I am leaving tonight for the great white north. just one last reminder that the MNLMRA has a race Saturday the 5th in Gilbert, Mn we are paying $100 tow $$ to each driver.

Friday July 4th
Nashwauk, AM parade starts at 11:00

Keewatin, PM parade starts at 2:00


Saturday, July 5th (Raceday)

Gilbert, Mn, gates open at 12:00 reg/tech at 1:00 (or earlier if you can find Jere or Andy).

Get to  I-35 N
 
 110 mi
 
Take exit 237 to merge onto MN-33 N toward Cloquet/Iron Range
 
 19.8 mi
 
Slight left at US-53 N
 
 35.9 mi
 
Take the MN-37 exit toward Gilbert/Biwabik
 
 0.2 mi
 
Turn right at MN-37
 
 3.5 mi
 


 

MN-37 is also Broadway Ave in Gilbert, we will be racing right across from the Delta Dental building on Broadway so it shouldn't be too hard to find.
