Ok well i got a extra crank here and im debating to get it balanced or use the money for somethings else.
So i was wondering what advantages and if there is any dis advantages to getting it done. What difference have you guys noticed htat have had it done?
Im tryong to build cheap power i know it is hard but i gotta try to squeeze as much as i can. so far i got a
28 ci fresh honed
Ec springs keepers retainers
Heads ported and valves seated
precision cam
magnets removed from the under side of fly wheel
# 3 Advance timing key
Jet'd and low side needle installed on carb
K/N filter
NGK Plug

A balanced crank offers very little in the way of power, and they shake bad until reved up. Save up for a billet flywheel, it will rev up faster and less likley to come apart at high revs.

for reliability, i would either get the crank balanced or get a billet dogbone for your engine to keep the synchro balance from coming apart. as well as a billet rod. your engine is not built to run at the rpms that your cam will allow.

thanks forgot to mention i got they billet dog bone right now an hopefully will have the rod in a week.
