Seymour, Texas May 31, 2008
Seymour Speedway

Hot Texas Weather 97 degrees but a good South wind helped the racing community bear
the heat. At least the feature races were under the lights with less heat. Thanks go out to
the racers that bought the gas to get to the race. With racers from all over Texas coming
in to race the high fuel costs are definitely a concern but a full night of competitive racing
and great after race food and bragging softened the fuel cost. Thanks to the lady racers of
the LSMRA for the food.

Individual awards go to:

For those that are coming in from Texas on I-30.

Take Exit 30 and down the ramp to the yield sign. Turn right onto N.
Hervey (Hwy 278). Travel down to the first red light. Go straight
through this light to the next one. At this second red light you will
be looking at the railroad under pass. Notice the banner hanging
from the railroad tracks. Go straight through this light and under
the railroad. As you continue to the next light get over into the right
hand lane. At this light Harvest Foods will be on the left and an old
gas station will be on your right. Turn right onto W 3rd (Hwy 67W).
Follow this for three blocks (.2 miles). There will be a turn lane to
the left. This is Hwy 174 East. There is a Shell station on the corner.
Take the left onto Hwy 174 E. Follow it for .4 miles. Turn right onto
Jones Street and go straight for .1 mile. This will be the back
entrance to the fair park. Continue straight and you will see the pit
area on the left across from the arena.

If you get lost or need further assistance call me on my cell. (870)
703-2182 I will be at the track on Thursday and Friday nights getting
everything ready.

Scott
