Nice looking build George. Having a mower that low to the ground actually makes it almost a pleasure to drive because you don't have to worry as much about flipping.Put a nice big wheel on that sucker and you won't even get sore.

By the way, I wonder if there's some reason why we all wind up painting our mowers insane colors. Everyone in my group paints theirs fluorescent green, pink, bright blue, and Fluorescent orange ( mine).

Ron I presume your term Sick is a good thing. My knowledge of the modern terminology is not the greatest. It has far exceeded my expectations as to the way it has turned out. I simply love it myself. and Jake is even happier than I about it. His terminology for explaining how it looked when we rolled it out on the grass bank for pictures and I quote...... Dad, that thing looks TUFF!!! You won't stand a chance against me. End Quote. You see IF I get the motor done he is gonna race it against me and Ryan in Canada. I know he won't drive it hard enough to beat me but he has heart and as long as he is having fun thats one of the main reasons I do this. That Chassis will be the Class Legal Chassis used for the Land speed attempt also.

Yes SICK is just another term for BAD or Tough, or AWESOME!!! Just a youngens term that I picked up from my son!!!! That thing is awesome ! I know Jake is like a kid at Christmas! I know I would be.

George will the turf masters fit under those fenders?
Sheet metal will be plum crazy pearl purple, frame will be a golden darker yellow...

Do I see a MOPAR theme?

Yes they will I will have to drop the cassettes to do so which will raise the rear app. 1/4 to 1/2" It's true purpose is the Texas mile as a class legal mower. SO I designed and built it around kart tires. Idon't care if it ever runs mower tires on it. It will for one event to pass tech at a national points race. This is so it will be a class legal mower. But the speed run  will be on Kart tires. And yes MOPAR is good.....

Just looking at that machine again..... and yes its pretty cool, like I said that machine will fit right in with our outlaw class up here, hopefully you only have to put the turf masters on for one race to keep from getting hurt. Can't wait until August to see this machine and shoot the breeze with you guys in person.

I was going just a single color Yellow darker yellow like a golden yellow, BUT the guy wanting to paint it mentioned purple and yellow and since this mower he liked it thus the purple. See I built it Jake owns it and I am just a driver for it till he comes of age here. He will drive it in Canada. Hed drives mine all the time now.

I can't help but to notice how you say that he "owns" it. When you say that he owns it do you mean that he really and truly does own it?

Sorry but I guess it does not seam normal to me. I said I own the mower I race at a car show and my dad spoke up and yelled "you don't own   :censored: thing" .  I am building a mower now with only my money so I can be the true owner  :D

By the way, that is one AWSOME ride Jake's got there

Yes this is Jakes ride, his lock stock and Barrel. Only condition is he cannot sell it. And it isn't a toy it's a race machine and he will treat it as such. I don 't have to tell him that he doesn't even play with his super stock. And I will drive it some.  We are trying for two events this season with it. Canada event August 9/10 and November event Outlaw Twin class November, 15/16th.
You see many folks with their kids act like soccer dads I call it they PUSH the kids hard yell at em when they don't do it like they think they should. In Jakes case he is his own man on the track. I never tell him how to drive, I never tell him what to do. NOW if Jake asks me a specific question I give an opinion and ask what does he think. I want him to think on his on to react by his self with out having to rely on what I say... Its important as a racer he makes his own name does his own thing in other words be his own man NOT hey thats George's son. Any respect he gets on the track from other drivers he earns on his own NOT because he is my son. And I must say for an 11 year old boy he is a very mature driver, a very good sportsman and I am very proud of him.
Hey G man....Any chance on some measurements or are they pretty much the same???

depends on the measurement you want Steve.. I don't hide anything. Its at the painters right now so measuring anything is out of the question.

I have 2 frames the same as that one and I have 3 ragbs commin and I still have the g- team engine (14.5 ohv) that I got from mowerpar last year. And I have a couple v-twins left that I want to use. I need measurements for the rear end and such.
