valve spring and valve question

1.I was told the E.C springs and retainers will not work with out avs valves it that true?
2.Do they make any lighter valves that will work or can anyone lighten them and how much they charge??

They work on the late model valves If you have the valves with the slip over retainers you need the later model valvews anyhow. As for lightening them no need. They work great and are pretty light as they come.
