Air fuel ratio to Exhaust gas temp chart
« on: March 25, 2008, 04:19:07 pm »
Here is a chart that a friend of mine found for me. It is for automotive, but would also apply to what we are running.  Remember that stoichiometric air fuel ratio is 14.7:1, but that is optimum burn and emmisions. A ratio greater than 14.7:1 is lean and a ratio less than 14.7:1 is rich.  Most cars run about 13.5:1 during "power enrichment" i.e. wide open throttle.  Hopefully this can help someone with their tuning........
