From:   jimap17@yahoo.com

Hey All,

Yes, the Sandhills Sodslingers are getting started here in North
Carolina.

The test and tune on the 5th at Mowdown Motorsports in Whiteville,NC
was rained out, but this gave me the opportunity to discuss some
options with track owner, Wayne Taylor.

I am proud to announce that terms have been agreed to which bring
USLMRA AC racing to North Carolina. The Sandhills Sodslingers will race
at Mowdown Motorsports later this year. As soon as I get a schedule put
together, I will announce the dates.

In the meantime, there is another test and tune scheduled for Saturday,
March 22nd at Mowdown Motorsports. The track is in Whiteville, NC on
Chadbourne Hwy (nc hwy bus 74/76). If I can be any help to any area
racers, please let me know, I will help any way I can.

For those racers who don't know me, I am a USLMRA Charter Member,
starting my 17th season racing with USLMRA. I have raced at least one
machine in every USLMRA class except CP, Have won a points
championship, as well as a win at the STA-BIL Nationals. I also served
on the USLMRA Rules and Tech commitee for 6 years.
