George i found a carb that will fit. It has everything the same except the main jet. The old 1 had the jet on the side of the broken piece. the new 1 has it leading to the inside of the carb. how could i jet this type of carb for more fuel. it probaly needs more air/fuel ratio too. can u help me out. thanx

if it needs mopre fuel drill the main jet size out. Small changes very small changes at a time

on a kawi. how much could i shave the heads without running into problems. i didnt see any post about porting and polishing a kawasaki. how could i port the exhaust and polish up the intake

You can shave any head .030 safely. Course if ya running a really huge lift cam that could come into play. As for porting and polishing. Its all the same principle. Regardless of engine brand. Port shape plays a big roll in OHV's and I am not getting into a deep discussion on this.

there is three wires running to flywheel cover.. There is two black ones and a white one. someone told to take the two black ones off. they runn to the flywheel. then the white one runs to magneto
The other thing that may be working against you is the fact that most of these Kawi's require a seperate igniter chip (control module in the attachted diagram) to make the magneto work.
