Does it use a pulse type fuel pump?? If so..it may be full of oil and unable to pump fuel.

Well if there was no fire it would not start when you sprayed in the carb. What that tells me is it isn't getting fuel......carb still stopped up somehow, fuel solinoid not activated or bypassed, it is a no fuel issue for what ever reason.

Make sure you're kill switch and ground circuit is wired properly.  I had same problem with same motor, figured out I was grounding the coil.

you have to power that solenoid or remove it and add just a nut. I do not have any kawi carbs. We can build the one you have for 200.00

pull the bowl on the carb and remove the plunger( cut it off). or put the wire back on the bottom of the bowl. it should be powered with the key on. i pulled the solenoid and replaced mine with a plain bolt off of a non electric shutoff setup.

if you're racing it, i wouldn't even worry about the extra wire. those are for the charging system, just run your kill wire to the coil and cut the plunger off in the carb bowl and your good.
