Helmet mounted cameras

Not sure if I mentioned this before. www.helmetcamcentral.com is a great little site about helmet mounted cameras. From old style " add an external camera to your camcorder in your backpack" to the latest VIO POV1 model. It's review is 1/2 way down their front page, at the moment. Nice, if you have $800.

A better option is what I mentioned to George a while back, simply using one of the wireless videocams with audio from eBay and hooking them up to a DVR system. Squidd has the setup, and from what I've heard it works well.

$40 for the camera, $7 for the adaptor...Lap top I had (OK I bought it for this project, but NOW I have one  >:D )

System works great Nor 66 saw that in Tennessee...

Operator error (me) has lost the footage , but it "was" good... :noplease:

Will have to shoot some more for demo....and post...

The wife has a laptop and I was wondering what kind of adapter you used and what program you used to capture the footage on the puter.

Hey Squidd where did you get your helmet cam. Footage would be good sponsorship material.
