Tonite I rolled in the mowchine that is goin to be transformed from race to monster .

I was goin to start on the frame work , but decided to start taking things apart that is no longer needed .I removed all wheels then unbolted and took the transmission out . Unhooked the steering linkages and proceeded with cutting the old axle off .Was goin to remove engine , but decided to quit for the evening .Pictured below is what I have accomplished this evening .

Started building the frame work for the Enforcer(mtd chassis) .As you can see in the pic , I made a frame for the chassis to sit on . The frame measures 14.5w x 48L .

After welding up frame work , I cut 2-20" long tubes for the rear and tac welded into place after squaring up .Then tac welded the tranny mts in place and added 11.5" cross tube .

The front down tubes I cut to 20" ,measured 10" down and notched  to bend inward .Notched to make a 30* bend in each tube and then tac weld into place .After tac welding into place , turned the frame over , placed the 820 trans  and hung the front end .

Leveled frame work and placed the front axle beam underneath to determine how to mt front axle .

I had 2 pieces bent up for the axle mount to form a 8x5 tube, welded together and bored the axle center pin .Come to find out ,after I made the axle mount , my down tubes in the front were a little short , I remedied the problem by cutting 2 small tubes with a 30* angle and placed them in between the down tube and axle mount and tac welded together . I which this case worked out better .

Cut and placed the support tubes, after I had everything  tac welded into place , proceeded on welding everything solid .

Forgot , I decided to scrap the chassis ,Kept the hood , grill , floor boards ,clutch setup and pedals . A friend donated a bare chassis with floorboards and fenders .

Na , This one is not goin to be as tall, considering I am planning on racing the Enforcer. Goliath is too tall to race with , Goliath is for more recreational use(Poker Runs ;) ;)). This new build should be a foot shorter in height and pretty close to be bein the same width considering I am using bigger tires .
